  • d-71? 4/13/2026: monday should be a good last day. tuesday's numbers will close out the www program, but i will continue through the week with the averages.

0800 i will volunteer to beautify the community (relationships). booked today's yoga class, and 2 more for next week!

-----------self sabotage? stress? excuses?

the day began with volunteering for the community beautification day, but i quickly realized that neighborhood $$$ was being spent on only a small portion of the community. we were (basically) beautifying a homeowner's association board member's back yard.

with several other areas of the community in need of attention, i wrote a letter to the management company. the letter showed pictures of the areas in question, and questioned why a low-visibility area was being targeted for "beautification" while the rest of the community was ignored.

i then went to yoga, which was great. nancy taught a master class.

after yoga (after picking up my tax form from david), driving with the convertible top down, i went to craft 115 and had a stout. i bought a couple of breakfast stouts (to go), and, instead of driving home, went to j.r. cash's and had an i.p.a. i was off-to-the-races. i chatted-up ann, left a good tip, and went home to cook dinner.

pete arrived at about 4:30, and the breakfast stout was shared. i also opened a bottle of wine, and we ate outside (pork, mahi, shrimp, veggies). we then went to downtown mt. holly (the summit) and chatted-up the locals. this (my next-to-the-last-day of www) could have been my worst, in terms of drinking.

i will analyze this, of course, but it appears (right now) that i have not established a behavior change (yet). i'm not completely sure if it was stress, or self-sabotage, or utilizing a friend as an excuse to drink.

more to follow. this kind of a toxic day, at the end of a process, needs reflection..

:(
