once upon a space & time, life began to evolve & morph into its better-chance-to-survive/thrive self. as it did so, it Super-accelerated into a bipedal species with exponential intelligence. we tend to refer to that species as "humanity".
along the way, every previous species' ego surely thought of itself as the pinnacle of existence: the very top of the chain. maybe most still do.
as this human acceleration evolved (through its ages: agriculture, industry, tech) it tended to speed-up its metamorphosis.
the mosquito, now, if it could even attempt to contemplate the life of john doe ...would have about as much of an understanding -- as john doe has a care for that mosquito.
