...that humans (collectively) feel, intrinsically... is that a very few of their species (their "brothers and sisters") are making decisions that will affect (and are affecting) the Whole.

those not in control feel a sense of hopelessness.

the good news (not for humans) is that this is the way of evolution. evolution has never been a democracy. it is not communistic. evolution is not even a dictatorship.
