b132 (4.16-2.2026 ): pantry moths must die!

this thoem was (originally) written in may of 2025, during an attempted takeover (from pantry moths) of my kitchen.

now, i have always wondered why (in the bibles) the command is often given to kill all of the men, women, children, animals and even the "crawling things." it just never made sense (like in the great flood for example) for a God to kill the innocent.

...but...

if the verses were sung (and later written) by men, then the story makes sense. men would not want to leave any trace of the conquered, for fear of (future) revenge. in the example below, moses was "wroth" (v.14) for keeping women & children alive.

numbers 31:17
"now therefore kill every male among the little ones,
and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him."

numbers 31:18
"but all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him,
keep alive for youselves."

while being one of the most disgusting chapters in the bibles, this one shows (to me, anyway) that men wrote the stories, and that the stories (at least some of them, were inspired by something other than the divine).
