a personality quirk that i've noticed about myself: i'm great as a short-term partner, but prefer time alone very quickly. i'm a short-term A+.
when you're with me, you get 100%. it takes a lot of energy out of me, i think. i like it (during) and then seek solace, afterwards.
this (really) isn't anything new. i've been called a 'loner' by some girlfriends, "non-committal" by others, and (i imagine) a lot worse by still others.
with family/friends, it's the same. i'm a short-term A+.
