* is lgbtq 'exclusive'?

shouldn't it be lgbtqs... where the 's' = 'straight'

why exclude over 90% of those walking on planet earth from celebrating rainbows?

and shouldn't the 's' ...really be s/s&s/n-s?

  • s/s = straight/supportive, and
  • s/n-s = straight/non-supportive
it's really none of my business.  exclude who you want to exclude, but it is probably a mistake to exclude 90% of your could-be constituents from the party.

true, lgbtqs/s&s/n-s might be harder to fit on a flag (or bumper-sticker).

  1. note: not all supportive straights are TOTALLY supportive (for example, i don't believe that trans men should compete in women's sports, and i did not approve of the pride parade in nashville that had a float with men in g-strings gyrating on poles).

    i'm more of a "live & let live" hippie-type. do whatever you want in the privacy of your own privacy, but (c'mon, now) not in front of the kids.
