water makes me happy

water makes me happy
ocean kisses sand
cool whitewater glistens
maybe it’s God’s hand

·       water: the sound of it, the taste of it, the feel of it (maybe because i’m mostly ‘it’) makes me happy.

·       truth is… nothing ‘makes’ us happy.  we make ourselves happy, based upon our choices.  no, that’s not true, either. 

·       we either are happy or we aren’t.  we move toward more happiness or less happiness… based upon our moment-to-moment choices to do so.

i got the idea of "ocean kisses sand" from the who's love reign o're me line "the way the beach is kissed by the sea".  it's that never-ending kiss, that bliss!
