why crawl across hot sidewalk?
to get away from germs?
they fry, they die (just stay inside!) they’re petrified!  they’re:
 
worms

·       today, as i often do, i wondered why worms will leave the juicy-comfort of home… to crawl across a scalding sidewalk (and often fry into a dehydrated-death).

·       there is but one reason: ego.
 o   ego-pleasure: to thrive for something better, or
 o   ego-pain: to escape from something worse.
 
can’t he see his-story?
 
once fried and petrified, even birds fly by as if blind to a dry, pie-in-the-sky-high sigh (oh, my).
