·       “start/stop technology” is that annoying stopping and restarting of an automobile engine when the vehicle stops, then (subsequently) resumes motion.

·       for the bit of emissions saved, how much more engine wear & tear occurs with hundreds of thousands of unnecessary restarts?

·       why can’t the powers-that-be incentivize solar-powered vehicle research?  most of us (with even a tiny bit of head-scratching) can answer that question.
