shopping for religion? try this on for fun
there’s no need for college (world religions 101)
 
so……………..
 
buddhists seek nirvana, every now and zen
mormons read a book by joseph smith called ‘let’s pretend’
brahman is for hindus with its karma/incarnation
let me be devoted to my goddess (not inflation)
 
breath-work, metaphysics: new age mystery
it’s all an illusion (like a game of hide-and-seek)
islam votes for allah (and to be his servant now)
jews don’t think that jesus is messiah anyhow!
 
martin luther did protest the catholic point of view
there are different bibles (it’s a shame that no one knew)
pastors can get married, but not so for a priest
holy, water can turn into wine (en-mass, at least)
 
heaven, hell and purgatory (where then shall we sleep?)
billy joel thinks sinners have the fun (not nun): sew/reap
baptists are all protestant but not so versa-vice
hubbard, dianetics, scientology (for life)
 
seventh-day adventist says “the sabbath day is near!”
door-to-door jehovahs tend to witness jesus, here
catholics eat his body, although some may drink his blood
christians think that god killed little babies in a flood!
 
…and, of course………………….
 
jesus died for all our sins (but just if you believe)
silly young disciple: merry christ-mass eve

now that you’re a knower (and not just under the gun)

* the reason why 'pagans' weren't mentioned is that there was no religion known as paganism.  beginning in about 400 a.d., 'pagan' was a name-calling tactic (by the monotheists) to shame & attack those polytheists (almost everyone) who believed in more than one God. then, the monotheists (uh) 'modified' key pagan beliefs and wove those beliefs into their own, man-made religions.  basically, it's man -- making god in man's own image: king. lord. god. savior. father. etc.
