if dynamic homeostasis is a "10" ...then sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system fluctuations would be necessary (e.g. toxins would be necessary, catabolism would be necessary, pain would be necessary...) for the return/rebalancing.
from this perspective, the Whole process (from 1-10) would be "a 10... in process."
