we went to the amusement park (and much to our surprise)
the chills and thrills and spills were so much more than just the rides
the sun and cotton-candy
the laughter and the smiles
the house of horrors (scary!) only lasted a short while
the roller-coaster ride is over (glad i was with friends)
truth be told (now that i’m old) i’d do it all again
