there's a progression to seduction:

1. connection/attraction
2. the dance of flirtation
3. passion/surrender

in essence: mutual seduction

while it could be argued that there is (1) a seducer, and (2) the seduced... the reality is that seduction is a dance -- with both partners swapping seduction roles.  the seduced often seduces his/herself... allowing the seduction to progress.

if i remember correctly, ann landers used to say that "nobody can take advantage of you without your permission," and that is likely the case (most of the time).
