you’re the one who leaves your dog outside all day (in heat)
you’re the one who neighbors think “white trash” the day we meet
you’re the one who (when it comes to others) you don’t care
you’re the one (god willing) who won’t be sharing air
 
it’s not your dumb-ass rat we hate (we hate the noise, it’s true!)
but we don’t hate your dog…
