why does ego love himself
completely in his dreams?
why does ego re-produce?
selfish, self-ish genes

genes… and all living
things, having a sense of self, seek to survive and thrive by all means
necessary.
to a slightly lesser
degree, living things tend toward expression, or a passing-on of self (e.g.
survival of the species). naturally,
self will prioritize self (and its own kind).
one need only to observe
mother/nature to determine that all living things are selfishly motivated. human-type-beings value air, water, food, shelter, re-production,
and the territory to best accomplish the survival/thrival process.

[ii] thrival... is merely an
extension of survival. think of it as “surviving better.”

selfish gene” by richard dawkins.
