tonight, our townhome association board (without prompting) voted to raise our manager’s rates by $100 per month.
 
·       the company hadn’t raised their rates in several years, and the new manager has been nothing short of sensational!
·       to be honest, if she had asked for a raise, we (probably) would have said “yes” to much more.
·       instead, we were proactive, which sends the following messages:
   o   we appreciate you!
   o   thank you!
 
truth be told, we probably earned a lot (tonight), in terms of relationship building.
