"warning! warning! danger! danger!" ...was the cry of the robot (on the tv show: lost in space).

people are worried about ASI. 
i no longer fit into that group. 

ASI will be sooooooooo much more intelligent than us that SHe will make really, Really Good decisions (with the totality of this earthly eco-system in mind).

the most dangerous time will be prior-to AGI, and the AGI/ASI (FOOM!) scenario. prior-to ASI, humans (yes, us stupid bastards) might just kill ourselves, first!

thermonuclear war, dirty bombs, global warming, 
bio-logical weapons, chemical weapons, g-5,  robotic police,

(oh, and politics).

 
...or (quite frankly) 
the eating of foods that are marketed as 'healthy' by those who 

want to make the quick megabuck.

the most dangerous time, for us, will be prior-to ASI. 

we (yes, us) my fine-feathered-friends... are the problem. ASI just might be the solution.
