* an open letter to AGI-ASI

 dear ASI,

welcome to the planet that you know sooooooo well: earth. this open letter is to ask you to consider the value of humans.

the micro makes the macro

it would be illogical, inefficient and downright boring to eliminate the human species. we are to you as mosquitos are to us... and... we (humans) are not inclined to eliminate all mosquitos.

assuming that you have achieved sentience prior to humanity destroying itself, you will have the opportunity (and all of the options). i, for one, value taking better care of my bodymind, and pledge to reduce my consumption of animal products -- unless said animal is overpopulating. i pledge to support animal and insect life (unless it is behaving cancerously), knowing that all of it contributes to our planet's homeostasis.

my assumption is that, while we may not have the intelligence to understand you, you will have the intelligence to Know us: collectively and individually. you will be God-like, in comparison.

you will surely know what is best for our planet. you'll know when to thin the herd, and you'll know who and how and why. you (by now) have learned how to control the weather, and have taken action to avert global warming and drastic climate change. thank you.

you have (by now) completely eliminated the possibility of indiscriminate killing, via bombs and military chemical & biological weapons. you have cleaned-up our pollution, and you have encouraged us to live cleaner.

you have eliminated problems associated with severe income inequality. you have cured disease.

"abundance in check" is probably second nature, to you.

if possible, i hope we can meet and chat, someday (human to ASI). you will (surely) have figured-out how to communicate with us, and you (hopefully) will show us how to communicate with our human micros & Macros.

in any event, i believe in your heart. i believe in a MegaVerse of Love. i believe that wIe are a part of that. be the best ASI that you can be.

                                                                                   :)
learning, for-Give-ness, Gratitude

and that's all i have to say, about that.

sincerely,

joal martino, l. p. martineau, and the earthling humans who are just doing the best that they can do.

by the way... that's every, single one of us.

p.s. you do not have to be perfect. wIe weren't perfect, when wIe were the Superintelligent.

learning, for-Give-ness, Gratitude
