·       is it possible that some people drink coffee – more for the sugar than for the taste/effect?
 
do people do one thing (e.g. consume _______) for reasons that might seem totally unrelated (even in opposition to) the thing that are doing?
 
for example, might a person say ‘no’ (when they’d like to say ‘yes’) …in order to see if you’ll try harder to get a ‘yes’?
