·       the most important thing to care about is how you think about yourself.
·       love the who, what, where, when, why and how you are.  really!
·       be good to others (as they deserve it), but be good to yourself first.
 
it sounds selfish, and this thoem will be ridiculed, but those who ridicule are simply being good to themselves… first.  

think about it.

 
the key is to care about others, as people, but not to care about what they think or believe.  listen, be attentive (as desired), and disengage from anything that is not supporting you 100%.
