·       when someone goes off-of-their-meds (or is otherwise not thinking straight), do not try to communicate rationally.  it may only make things worse.

·       be patient.  s/he is attempting to get you to engage, so that s/he can (eventually) communicate a message.

·       if s/he doesn’t write it down clearly, and if s/he leaves a lot to your imagination, s/he might attempt to lure you into an emotional discussion.

·       stay rational. 

·       be empathetic, but do not get lured-into a discussion in which you will eventually get frustrated and then be labeled “the angry guy.”

·       once anger happens, you will be the one apologizing for (what is essentially) her insanity.
 
let it go.  she will hopefully/eventually come to her senses and re-read everything that she wrote… or not.
 
while temporary-insanity is understandable in certain instances, repeated/consistent insanity is a bouquet of red flags.
