is something i can give
we all want something (more) but that is just the way we live
the in/secure (they wouldn’t have it any,
other way)
all that my soul can give:
a promise of today

be-cause, egos that we all are… want a promise
of tomorrow.
· we (then) manipulate others, so that they can make that promise, so we can hold them accountable for that which is simply our own survival/thrival mechanism.
anyone who
“promises” you any-thing about tomorrow is (a) either a lying piece of sh--, or (b) a hopeless romantic.
although i
wish for option “b” …i’m still just me. those who promise you tomorrows aren't bad people. they are simply hopeful.
all i can
give you is Now.
