you might have a good dream
you might make a good plan
you might secure the funds
you might look good (on paper) but you’ll wonder if you won One

·       the lone wolf might have a great plan, but he only wins team-games if he can get the team to buy-in to the vision.

·       absent buy-in, the team devolves into an “every man for himself” mentality.
 

if she hasn’t bought-in, she can leave without so much as a good-buy.

if the team hasn't bought-in, they won't even care.

how then, does one facilitate team buy-in?

based upon a review of some literature and personal experience, the leader needs to gain consensus prior to cultivating excitement.  involve the constituents in the planning process.  in 2025, people want to know what's in it for them.
