b90 (5.5-1.2020): trust the one who...

trust the one who has least to gain

in a world where every living thing has an agenda
in a world where you can’t figure who is a pretenda
in a world where life’s restrictions cause you to complain
in this world (you trust the one who has the least to gain)
__________________________

·       in a world of agendae, everyone who you communicate with can quote ‘evidence’ that proves whatever they are trying to convince you to believe.
·       in a world of mass-debating, every, single person has a notion to conceive.

·       in a world of hope (we can’t get out of here, alive).

b90 (5.4-1.2020): seeking honey (moon)

seeking honey (moon) [1]
by honey m. o. oning

maybe it’s a phase

may this not end too soon

may we find non-sense of time as we seek honey (moon)

_________________________

i’ve always thought a couple of things, about honeymoons:

1.      they should last longer than a week (…more like a year, actually).

2.      we should enjoy the honeymoon prior to the commitment.

how can one extend the honeymoon phase?

·        see each other infrequently (as absence makes the heart grow fonder).

·        don’t talk/connect every, single day.

·        long-distance relationships are perfect for honeymoon extension.

affairs are examples of passion-filled, intermittent rendezvous that keep the excitement level high – right up until somebody gets caught.  i’ve never blamed the people in the affair.  to me, it was the system that did them in.  those in an affair must admit that they usually give the best of themselves and receive the best of their lover.  very likely, it’s faaaaar better than what the spouse is getting.

·        time stands still, but lovers still can’t get enough.

·        there’s a high level of interest and intrigue.

·        the ‘newness’ of it piques the excitement.

b89 (4.14-1.2020): the problem with religion

the problem with religion  [i]
by isman

god can drown his creatures, kill his children, hate his gays
but (when bad things happen) “the lord works in mysterious ways”
__________________

the problem with religion…
·       is that men made it up:
o   they created gods in their own image.
o   they might have been trying to explain the unexplainable, but…
§  men learned that religion is a great way to control the feeble-minded.
§  men learned  that religion can bring them money/power.
·       is that men tacked-on “belief” as the key element:
   o   believe what we believe.
o   believe and you’ll be saved.

the problem with the man-made god…
·       is that men credit him with everything good, while not holding him accountable for anything bad.
o   in fact, when things go bad, men blame it on “not being religious enough.”
·       is that men state that god can do no wrong (he is perfect).
·       is that men state god can break his own rules.
·       is that men pretend to know what god thinks, feels, & wants.  any 3rd-grader could deduce that an all-powerful being wouldn’t have any “wants.”
·       is that he is given every excuse possible, even to the point of “the lord works in mysterious ways” and “everything happens for a reason, in god’s plan.”
·       is that men would have us believe that god answers prayers.

there is no accountability in religion.  religions aren’t taxed (in the usa) which allows them to thrive.
