b123 (4.18-1.2025): when dreams come (ARE) true

when dreams come are true [i]
by drea m. baby

when dreams are true (in-Joy-ment)
when dreams are true (it’s fun!)
when dreams are true (it’s any-thing!)
when dreams are true (we, One)

dreams are better in the phase prior to ‘coming’ true.  it’s the anticipation, the contrast of maybe/maybe not.
since actually attaining the dream is anti-climactic, consider delay-ing the ultimate climax.  this is the process of Be-ing present with the future.
keep open the possibilities.  cultivate the maybes.  live the dream before it is time to wake-up in the experience.
then, when the dream does come true…  don’t project.  don’t think.  don’t anticipate.  Be present, and Be the present.  wallow in the sea of joy.  let it embrace you, surround you, enter you… and support you.

allow the dream to Be you.

-artwork by the world-re-Now-ned artist dustin robertson.  i named the piece "the dream" but he may have another name, idea, title, impression, or inclination.

-below is another one of robertson's master-pieces, which i call "space-ship of Love."  it adorns my living room art gallery.  next to it is my own interpretation of "a trace of Heaven."

b121 (12.21-1.2024): come and surf the wave

surf the wave [i]
by ima i. n. control

some things we control
most things are unsaved
rocks (or maybe, roll)
come and surf the wave
_____________________________

·       surfers can’t control the wave, but they can control their tactile input into the surfboard.

·       Bliss is not about giving-up control, although ‘surrender’ can be a beneficial practice.

to me, Bliss is about getting caught-up in the move-ie, while also having the knowing that i can return to audience mode and/or director mode, as desired.  it’s not 100% surrender.

it is similar to the chase of Spirit.  100% transcendence of the ego would mean death/birth, so to transcend ego to a large degree (and to re-cognize when the ego is pre-dominant) is the dance of Bliss-full Play, Here (and, hopefully, Now).  it can be orgasmic.

come and surf the wave.

b120 (9.22-1.2024): fall has come (you're gone)

gone (the heat of summer)
gone (the heart seems torn)
gone (the chirp of hummingbird), yes,

fall has come (you’re gone)
_____________________________

·        the most significant thing that fall brings is what it appears to re-move: hummingbird activity.

·        the chirpers leave much too soon, imho.

·        like everything else in life, however, we get to miss that which we love – once it is gone.

maybe the way to look at this type of yearning… is from a gratitude perspective:

“i am grateful to have experienced what i now (momentarily) miss.”
😊

b88 (3.13-1.2020): "let's come together"

the only game in town [1]
by m. arch & m. addness

alternative title: "let's come together"

i watched the news today (it was the only game in town)
as news reporters (faint/persuade) the facts they toss around
they say “lets come together” while the clips they show (divide)
i watched the news today (a blend of captivating lies)

·       news channels (particularly fox and msnbc) have lost the ability to report news.  did entertainment networks ever have the ability?

·       in any event, two ‘channels’ describe the same ‘news’ – but paint pictures of two diametrically-opposed worlds.

·       global, consumerized systems fail to avert crises.

·       now, we get to watch & listen to disaster (from the locked-down confines of our own, quarantined homes).

·       let’s "spend some time" (alone).
