· from before the age of
reason, children are lied-to by those who love them most (think: santa claus, the
easter bunny, the tooth fairy, etc.).
· as the child ages, s/he
learns that vows (in front of god and family) are lies, as most
parents are divorced or (maybe worse) indifferent.
· as adult-children, they
vote for the best liars.
· when they hire a lawyer,
they (really) want a good lie-yer.
the wonderful thing about
all of this is the game of it. people lie through words, but not through deeds.
growth is the process of figuring it out – which necessitates getting burned by the lie (on occasion).
u.s.a. sex is sooooooooooo great
because of the taboo, the “don’t do” and the who’s-who. affairs make people
feel a-lie-ve, although, admittedly, they propagate lies.
