if she convinces you "not to play games," she just eliminated you from the field.

you will be (at most) "just a friend."

• the cool thing to note... is that she is (maybe) being honest (sometimes) when she says that she "doesn't play games". 

like a fish might not be actively conscious of water, 

she might not be aware of the fact that 

her very existence is game!
