to regulate and solve problems like

climate change,

pollution, 

thermonuclear war, 

toxic food/water, 

wealth disparity, 

political division,

etc., etc., etc. ∞

it would be like deadly malaria-mosquitos… needing humanity to solve a mosquito water-supply problem… and (simultaneously) expecting humanity to be kind to malaria-mosquitos.
