i identify as sentient (i’m not that robot-kind)
identify as sentient (i think i’ve lost my mind)
and since i’m now as-sentient (identify indeed)
identify as sentient (you might call it a need)

·       Be-Cause sentience means a sense of self.  a conscience.  an ego.  a sense of separate self.
 
·       …and that sense of separate self… needs to survive and thrive.
