they come and go and reap and sew and flow and know:

there’s something that happens on cool, august mornings… when the hummingbirds are fighting more than they have all summer.

it’s a feeling.

school is about to begin (amid a covid-19 disaster plan that changes daily), but the winds of the seasons are different  it happens on an overcast, cooler-than-usual morning.  even the coffee is different.

in north carolina, it’s a gentle sway/foray into falling (once again, my friends) for fall.

even in uncertain times, friends connect (through media, telephone, and even rhymes).  there’s time for reading.  contemplation.  gratitude (bordering on elation).  there’s a mental-shift that occurs with a whisper – coupled by a knowing nod of yes-ness.

it is coming.

no, we aren’t talking about the 2020 rigged election by a madman who is both power-hungry and supported… not only by a political party, but the world’s most powerful “news” conglomerate.  we are not talking about that travesty.

we are talking about the earth’s annual trip around our sun.  we are talking about the memories of fun… and of being One

why (in times of ever), never…

  •  humanity can rid himself of these times, if, for a moment, he re-leased the myth of being the top of the evolutionary chain.  we aren’t.

·       does everyone just want to watch the crash??!!!???

all my life, i’ve been into inter-independence.  this is not interdependence.

inter-independence is a mutual desire to assist our partner to be completely independent of us.  yes, they can still love us and connect with us, but they are not a slave to our desires and whims.

they are independent.
they earn their own money.
they live in their own home.
they control their own lives.

b90 (5.5-1.2020): trust the one who...

trust the one who has least to gain

in a world where every living thing has an agenda
in a world where you can’t figure who is a pretenda
in a world where life’s restrictions cause you to complain
in this world (you trust the one who has the least to gain)
__________________________

·       in a world of agendae, everyone who you communicate with can quote ‘evidence’ that proves whatever they are trying to convince you to believe.

b90 (5.4-1.2020): seeking honey (moon)

seeking honey (moon) [1]
by honey m. o. oning

maybe it’s a phase

may this not end too soon

may we find non-sense of time as we seek honey (moon)

_________________________

i’ve always thought a couple of things, about honeymoons:

1.      they should last longer than a week (…more like a year, actually).

2.      we should enjoy the honeymoon prior to the commitment.

how can one extend the honeymoon phase?

·        see each other infrequently (as absence makes the heart grow fonder).

·        don’t talk/connect every, single day.

·        long-distance relationships are perfect for honeymoon extension.

affairs are examples of passion-filled, intermittent rendezvous that keep the excitement level high – right up until somebody gets caught.  i’ve never blamed the people in the affair.  to me, it was the system that did them in.  those in an affair must admit that they usually give the best of themselves and receive the best of their lover.  very likely, it’s faaaaar better than what the spouse is getting.

·        time stands still, but lovers still can’t get enough.

·        there’s a high level of interest and intrigue.

·        the ‘newness’ of it piques the excitement.
