b88 (3.23-6.2020): you'd better bank on barter

you’d better bank on barter [1]
by iva nina debtedness

you’d better bank on barter
as money goes extinct
as green pieces of paper are not worth their printed ink
as suitcases of money will not buy you starbucks drink
you’d better bank on barter

(this is worse than you think)
______________________________

·        the ‘conservatives’ are spending false $$$ wildly, knowing that (in the end) the working-man will end up footing the bill (can you say “debt”?) while the u.sa.’s super-wealthy laugh their way to the swill.

·        when super-inflation and nationwide fiscal depression hit the fake, global economy with a crushing blow, you can present a truckload-full of green(back) pieces of paper that will not be able to purchase a dozen eggs.

·        you’d better learn how to barter, and you’d better consider what you’ve got to trade.

·        no banker will be able to help you -- as the banks shut down due to government-issued phony money.

no one will be able to care about you –
when they busy caring about their own, next meal.

let’s get serious: imagine your life, with:
no banks
no money
no electicity
no communication
no food

you’ll be happy to beg for scraps from the government,
or from anyone who might deem that you have something of value to trade.

·        their “trickle-down” economics has never worked, and it (probably) was never intended to.
·        after all, why would you give money/education to those who might someday fire you?
·        it’$ all $moke & mirror$ fine-ance.

b88 (3.23-4.2020): in ways (we live as kings)

(in ways) we live as kings [1]
by i. m. lucky

it’s hard to wrap you’re head around the beauty that life brings
but, in this mellow-drama,
(in ways) we live as kings
______________________________

what do most u.s.a.-ians experience now, even amid crisis, that kings and queens had no access to… even a few short (centuries) ago?

·        a variety of music, at our fingertips, whenever we choose.
·        instant communication with humans from all over planet earth.
·        information (as opposed to superstitions).
·        being able to enjoy the experience of flying (moving without the feet toughing the ground) in things called auto-mobiles.
·        …and on, and on, and on…

in many, many, many ways, we live as better than kings.

[2] inspired by a thing called a phone conversation with dustin r., a good buddy who lives hundreds of miles away!!  while we shared mutual anxieties about the crisis, we confirmed the importance of social connection and living with passion and (maybe most of all), gratitude.

b88 (3.23-3.2020): nothing you can do

nothing you can do [1]
by stay ingput

you’re locked-down (in shelter) while the fox is in the coop
you’re in quarantine (and there is nothing you can do)
______________________________

what can one do, when there is nothing you can do?

1.      take control of what you can control: bodymind.
   a.      this would be a good time to meditate.
   b.      i suggest 10% happierhttps://www.tenpercent.com/
                     i.     meditation benefits can occur in seconds, in fact…
ii.     …the essence of meditation is the practice of shifting the mind (back to center) – because you’ve practiced and become aware of (1) mind-wandering can be stress-full, (2) mind-wandering can be counter-productive, and (3) noticing the wandering can be used as the vector back to center.
iii.     center (of course) usually involves some type of breath or body awareness, which can be the precursor to a conscious shift in thought-patterns.
iv.     a shift to gratitude can all-ways result in a shift from i-ll-ness to we-ll-ness.
2.      watch it, like it’s a horror movie.
   a.      detach from the horror-i-ble scenes that make you ill.
   b.      see #1, above.
3.      vote hard – even if you believe that your vote means nothing.
   a.      take action.
   b.      take control over what you can control.
   c.       re-lease the urge to control that which is out of your control.
4.      practice concerned-detachment.
   a.      pay enough attention (to external events) to poise yourself to take actions when you can, while
   b.      taking the time to tap into gratitude, for being able to go the move-i-es.

the distress arises from the feeling that there is nothing that we can do…

soooooo…

what we can control is all intrinsic:
·        our breath,
·        our consumption (eating, drinking, and watching/listening),
·        our individual body movements (e.g. exercise/stretching), and
·        our thoughts.

-the beginning.

sheltering in place [1]

sheltering in place
sounds like good advice
while the politicians make a killing (market price)

the new trend for lawmakers (cap-i-tal-is-tic greed)
while they argue over what makes cents for those in need

the senators (in the video, below) just spit in the face of those who they represent...
…unless (of course) they actually represent a privileged few, which (of course) we already knew.

our leaders will probably defend our inside-trading senators, and say that “they did nothing wrong…” but dude, if you did what they did, you’d end up in jail.

·        on friday, the message was "all three campuses will shut down to faculty/staff/students and the public on march 23.”

hoping that there will be another (similar) dance in the future, and more-so,  grateful for being able to dance at all.

b88 (3.22-6.2020): sloooooow apocolypse

slooooow apocalypse [1]
by s. lowly

i long for younger days (when loosened lips just might sink ships)
‘cuz now i’m in the middle of a slooooow apocalypse
______________________________

so… how will you know that you’re in the middle of a slooooooooooow apocalypse?

1.      there will be systems in place that mandate:
   a.      annual injections of government approved drugs/substances.
   b.      hazardous medical procedures, like mammograms and colonoscopies.
                                                     i.     the masses will actually be convinced that the procedures are beneficial.
ii.     humans will gladly accept (and pay for) the subsequent procedures, drugs, and treatment plans.

2.      activities will be monitored, and artificial intelligence will have access to:
   a.      where you go, and what you spend your money on.
   b.      when you communicate, and with whom.
   c.       what you consume (buy, eat, like), etc.
   d.      how and when you sleep! ((cut to a santa claus tune: “he sees you when you’re sleeping…”))
   e.      who your friends are.
   f.       which team you are on, politically.
   g.      your sexual preferences and turn-ons.
   h.      your present location and behavior.
   i.        etc.

note: you might even give the information freely (social media 'likes', self-monitoring devices, electronic purchases, etc.).

3.      the systems will be set up to influence what you buy, what you do, what you say, and how you play.

4.       if/when you attempt to go off-grid, well, those who are off-grid will be suspect!

5.      you’ll really know it when you don’t even know it.  you’ll be happily living your life, completely unaware that you are completely controlled by those who have all of the money and all of the power.
   a.      …and you (and yours) won’t even care.
   b.      in fact, you will beg for (and expect) govern-mental control.

if you happen to be good at reading between the lines,
you already know that the apocalypse has already happened (most missed it),
you know that we are in it,
and that it is a slooooooooooo apocalypse.

when antibodies thrive (survive!)
when virus is vaccine
______________________________

·       in regard to covid-19, i would much rather be on the ‘exposed/recovered’ list than the uninfected list, and you already know precisely why:
o   the exposed/recovered will have built up an immune system defense against the specific invader.
o   the uninfected will have to wait…

...until their trusted political and pharmaceutic systems declare which drug/substance that the uninfected will be injected with (in 12-18 months or so), which means…
·       over a year of self-isolation (as you wait), and
o   …no guarantee that it will work for you, once it is mandated that you get the injection.

oh, and one more thing: the masses will be more than happy to comply with annual, government regulated injections.

(ooops!  we already are!)

·        all power politics will collapse once the truth emerges…
