i’ve scuba-dived with sharks (australia), swum with rays (cancun)
snorkeled with the white-tips (fiji), skinny-dipped at noon
i’ve done the fun with whale sharks in the philippines, no less
communed with barracuda out at key largo (u.s.)
 
the sea turtle excursion in the clear bahamas, wow!
the scalloping (steinhatchee) and sand-dollar-destin (how?)

don’t need to do goat-yoga
don’t need to swim with swine
i’m happy to explore and learn that everything is fine

·       now that i’ve done it, swimming (or communing) with animals (that are just there to be fed) has lost a bit of its luster.
