the system that they (the lawmakers) have co-created:
 
·       several states don’t require photo identification,
·       gerrymandering perpetuates the system,
·       candidates can be bought and sold,
·       billionaires have waaaaaaay too much influence,
·       the process is negative.  ugly.  cruel.  disgusting.
 
not that it’s not by design: 
 
while the plebes are all arguing among themselves (due to the divide & conquer agenda), those at the top of the chain can laugh all the way to the bank (and the yatch, and the skybox, and the brothel).
