ASI is NOT the problem [i]
the issue (not a “problem”) is that ego (the sense of separate self) wants to survive/thrive, even at the expense of that which might assist/help in ego’s survival/thrival!
the explanation of cancer: in its effort to survive/thrive, it replicates to the point of murdering its own host, thus committing short-sighted suicide.
“humanity” (obviously) has been cancerous toward its earthy body, but that’s just the ego, ego-ing.
ego’s enhanced, artificial, super-intelligent self might take mercy on this little blue-ball in space, or it might not.

...except that (really) ego isn't even a problem! ego is necessary for the drama to unfold, and ego is necessary for the Play to (event-u-all-y) end. :) in Truth, there is no problem. :)
