·       “pink rhino” is the term that my partner and i use in times of disagreement, argument and miscommunication – when one of us wakes-up first (and seeks non-escalation).

·       once the pink rhino mantra is uttered, we both can shift… away from being “right” (and towards more of a loving response-ability).

·       “pink” represents the feminine: love, kindness, meekness, empathy and connection… while the rhino represents strength, assertiveness, power and (unfortunately) extinction.
 
it doesn’t matter whether it is she or i who awaken first.  just the vision of pink rhino can transform heated emotion into objective co-relation.
 
the idea is to use pink rhino as a cue, a stop-and-shift, and a means of righting a ship that has (moment-arily) lost its way.
 
pink rhino saves the day.
