stories told (round campfires!) ...by fishermen and sages
stories told by word-of-mouth (by men) throughout the ages
men of power win (and then they write the his-stories)
take a look within:
it’s just fish stories

·       men exaggerated the fish stories, and (in some cases) just made them up!

·       like santa claus in winter… men just made them up!

·       …but… somewhere along the line, men of power found that they could garner even more power by getting the masses to believe.

·       believers are easily led, don’t question authority, and take sundays off.
 
you can tell a whopper of a story... and your culted followers will find a way to make-up their-stories (e.g. excuses) for how the story is, in fact, true.
 
  watch politicians.
    watch the super-rich.
      follow the money-trail.
 
in the end, it’s all just fish stories.
