from Jaden S. Love (a former student) to Joal:
Hey this is Jaden Love I was in your weight lifting class for last falls semester. I was training to be in the airforce and told you all about it. I graduated around 2 weeks ago and i reached the goals that I was striving for. Sadly BMT hasn’t been doing PT awards since Covid started. But in the end I finished my last test with 83 push-ups in a minute, 82 sit-ups in a minute, and a 1 1/2 mile run in 9 minutes and 20 seconds. I was very happy to hit that goal and I’m going to keep striving for more. Also, I can’t thank you enough for all the help and tips when it came to my training. It helped a lot to have someone there that not only motivated me but pointed me in the right direction to reach my goals. I was the best in my flight, and with everything you helped me with and my own knowledge I was able to help a lot of the people in my flight with reaching their goals as well. I wound up doing a lot of training with other people to get their PT scores up so we could all graduate together. Even had to pace someone for their run when they failed it the first time. It was a lot of fun but I’d also never want to go back. But I enjoyed the experience and now I’m in my tech school for munition systems. A lot more freedom here for sure. But all in all, I just wanted to reach out and let you know how I turned out and how much I appreciate all the help you gave me. I hope you keep the same energy for everyone else that will come to you in the future. Even if it was something small, it affects all of us in a big way.
Sincerely,
Jaden Love
