tonight marked the first (annual?) riverfront bingo night. to describe it as 'glorious' would be an injustice.
people of different genders and races and religious persuasions and political sides actually communed... to create an atmosphere of happiness, fun, passion, banter, acceptance, cooperation and (did he mention) fun?!?
couples, neighbors, parents and children... coming together and connected by a game.
i'm not sure if riverfront will ever be the same.
