unplugging from beliefs [i]

2024, for me, is going to be about unplugging from beliefs
___________________________________
· the belief that women can actually love men in the way that a man desperately wants to be loved. it is unfortunate, but they are simply not capable of that.
· the belief that alcohol:
o tastes
good. it (obviously) doesn’t. it creates bad breath.
o makes
one sexier. it doesn’t. it makes you smell worse.
o makes
you a better dancer, etc. nope.
o helps
you to relax.
o reduces
stress, as a good coping tool. alcohol,
of course, increases distress, in soooooooooooooo many ways:
§ empty
calories, fat, and eventual obesity.
§ reduced
quality of sleep.
§ dehydration.
§ reduced
attractiveness: look around at older alcohol users and smokers.
o improves
creativity. really?
o Helps
you to sleep better. in Truth, the
opposite is true. etc.
· the belief that coffee is necessary. truth is:
o coffee
tastes like sh-t, and it gives me coffee breath, which is bad breath.
o coffee
is consumed with “creamer” (sugar, milk, etc.).
o coffee
makes one’s teeth turn brown or yellow. that is not sexy!
o coffee
gives you the jitters!
o coffee
is just a habit. it is an addictive
habit.
don’t believe what people say. married people (and those who cohabitate) actually look for ways to not have sex or sleep intertwined. coffee and alcohol serve to make romance less likely! their own bad breath and body odors serve them… in being a self-rejection (rather than a rejection by their spousal-person)
btw: few people will admit any of the above.
