we named our puppy ‘peeve’
because we own the right
to name, restrict and feed
to cage-him-up all night
to collar, leash and walk
to “stay” (each time we leave)
to listen as we talk

ReplyDeletewhile we might rational-lies it, how much do we Love something that we restrict, chain, leash, train, neuter, etc.? although Love would probably go out of HE/R way to protect a vulnerable animal.... ego "owns."
