and i’ve been hearing rumors of a new captain in town
my ship (eclipse) at speed of light (you’re up on the display)
i’ll navigate (and set things right) i’ll be there yesterday

·        if the captain’s space-ship can travel faster than light & sound, could it not outrun any (current) message… arriving before the message was even sent?

could he not arrive before she falls in love with her new captain?
