b118 (3.25-1.2024): when TSHTF

when TSHTF [i]
by when not if

when the sh-- hits the fan
there’ll be no where to go
the chances are, you won’t be with the ones you love the most
the chances are, you won’t be able to enact your plan
the chances are (it’s when, not if) when the sh-- hits the fan
_________________________

·       when TSHTF, it will probably be sudden.
·       when TSHTF, few will be expecting it.
·       when TSHTF, the unprepared will rely on those who have access to provisions.
·       when TSHTF, people will do anything to survive, and it will be “every man for himself.”

of course, there will be some cooperation, communion, compassion, caring etc. …but that gets lost -- amid the looting, riots, and violence.

there is no way to escape the where and the when TSHTF.  there may only be enough time to tap into gratitude for what came before… which is now.

be grateful for now, now.

b115 (7.19-2.2023): when the sh-- hits the fan

when the sh-- hits the fan [i]
by notta fan

when the sh-- hits the fan
when chaos (all the time)
when the sh-- hits the fan
when you can’t read this rhyme [ii]
when all the thoughts you think begin with ‘i don’t understand’
when no-thing makes no non-sense
when the sh-- hits the fan

·         no electricity (not even for phones)
·         no (trust-worthy) information
   o   word-of-mouth rumors (at best)
·         no travel (but that doesn’t mean no ‘visitors’)
·         no hope
·         no food/water (event-u-ally)
·         no air

…and there is a whole lot of sh--… very, very, Very, Very (VERY?) close to the fan.
