a unicorn (even for an alien), joal doesn’t have a tv. he hasn’t read the paper in decades. he watches close-to zero news, and is virtually commercial-free. he can’t name celebrities. he doesn’t follow poli-tics.
disclaimer: one can never really avoid 100% of the psycho-babble, but we try.
joal has never married: no kids, no pets, no debt (although he does have shirts, shoes and the [occasional] problem).

oh.
and (apparently) no girlfriend.
(maybe [for an alien] life [on earth] is
better, that way.)
another chapter in another book has closed, opening-up a plethora of chapters, pages, paragraphs, sentences, action-verbs, no[w]ns, vowels and consonants.
it’s a time of dotting the i and
crossing the t.
where is this book headed? let’s see.
(maybe life doesn’t need a title.)
-the beginning
