www-d60 (wednesday, 4.1/2026): april fools

200.8 lbs; 39" abdominal. only april fools might imagine that consumption of toxins could (somehow) facilitate High-Level Wellness. that late nite (9:30 pm) beer & 1/4 lb mixed-nuts seems fractional, in comparison to past behavior trains... but (at this stage), every decision matters.

it still seems as though (while i logically know that 1 beer isn't going to do me any good), i still habitually make the decision to imbibe.

life is a process. i processed out of soda decades ago, then diet soda. nowadays, i won't even consider either. alcohol consumption has become a more ingrained behavior, so it might take more time/effort to purge it's draw.

lots of things are going well. stacking well in many areas (just not the clean, non-toxic days).

www-d58 (monday, 3.30.2026): the strong finish

www is not about the strong finish. it's not about cramming for the final. it isn't the biggest loser contest.

www is about routines, stacking-practices and lifestyle. the routines and the stacking of practices must (did he say 'must'?) be fun -- or in some way better than the alternative (e.g. staying in bed).

that being said, i still enjoy a beer, outdoor pubs, springtime, & humanoids. this process has been one of substituting (cranberry & sparkling water for beer). for the most part, a progress in process.

today (a monday) shows 210.2 lbs & 39 abdominal circumference. lennytime included posture, breathing, wIe moves, stretches, BWE & strength training. beat wendy (focus has been good: 20-0-2 in the last 22 games). 

looking to start the week strong, as a thursday-sunday trip poses a good challenge.

www-d55 (3.27.2026): matters of scale

 


while that silly little number on the scale is not "me" nor is it even an average (yet), it represents something. the www journey continues:

  • consistency matters (routines, stacking, lifestyle).
  • 'cheat' moments matter (they crush progress). that crush, however, can be a motivator.
  • charting/tracking matters.
  • not all calories are equal, and different foods affect the body in different ways. individual differences (among humans) matter.
  • toxins "throw-off" the calories-in-calories-out theory, by affecting sleep, fat metabolization, muscle building, etc., etc.
  • the most important (physical) measurement is (probably) still abdominal circumference.
  • a key (psychological) factor is self-efficacy, which relates to self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-regulation.
sub-200 is a beginning.

snails move slowly. when it comes to weight/fat changes, strength/size changes, flexibility changes (e.g. physiological changes), evolution occurs over time. don't expect the middle of the process to show the same rate of change as the beginning.

expect it to be tedious
expect the law of diminishing returns to show itself. 

that being said, 200.8 lbs & 39.25 (i'll take it, but it is still far from where i'd like to be). this is the time to reinforce the behavioral gains:

routines > stacking (days) >>>> lifestyle

week 8 of 10 shows us what we already knew:

1. a few "bad" days can set you back. the process/progress halts.

2. behavioral changes (process goals) trump outcome goals.

when wIe are dealing with a power that is infinitely Superior (Intelligent, etc.) to ours, the best course of action is:

1. hope that It likes you.

2. given the opportunity, take action in accordance with It (hopefully) liking you.

3. repeat #2. 

www-d53 (3.25.2026): stack-effects take time

 it's wednesday, 25 march 2026: 201.2; <39.5. lennytime: check posture, breathe, wIe, stretch, BWE, discomfort, focus (beat wendy).

it's time to see the effects of stacking at work. personally, i don't think that stacking (out of the blocks) is a good idea. bottle-rockets burn-out fast.

1. precontemplation: the process invites a phase where there are things that one simply does not care to change.

2. contemplation: this is the prerequisite phase for well worth the weight. this is where the potential student fills-out paperwork and begins a personal journey of introspection and tracking:

   a. intake form, wellness inventory, wellness wheel, etc.
   b. introspection: vision, mission, purpose, values and the why

3. preparation:
   
  a. anthropomentrics tracking (height, weight [BMI], circumference [abs, minimum], bloodwork, determination of BMR/RMR, caloric need for 'weight' loss goal, % fat, etc.)
  b. dietary tracking (this will probably be the most impactful aspect of anyone's program)
  c. activity tracking

at this point, the individual determines if s/he is ready to become a participant, and enrolls in the next course while continuing to prepare. this is a good time to begin to develop (flexible) loose routines for wake-up, water consumption, observance of temptation (temp-o), and a (flexible) pre-sleep routine.

nothing will be perfect during the preparation phase (or any phase, for that matter).

4. action: the course begins. 10 weeks, daily tracking. observations. modifications. the course is designed to learn how to become 10-20 lbs. leaner via practice and awareness. note that these phases may process at different times and in different ways for different behaviors. it will likely not be a linear process, and 'action' (for any behavior) is defined as "6 months, minimum." this is how a behavior becomes a lifestyle. 

routines > stacking (days) >>> lifestyle

5. maintenance: even this phase lends itself to imperfection, but, rebounds are quicker. at this part of the process, the individual should consider giving-back, facilitating change, wellness coaching, etc.
