b111 (10.5-1.2022): the ultimate misuse of time

the ultimate misuse of time [1]
by joal

we are all aware of time-wasters: procrastination activities that provide little-to-nothing in regard to personal wellness.

there is another level of time wasting, however.  when we waste time on activities that actually contribute to our own illness.  i’ll provide an example:

the other night, i watched two 911 documentaries about “what really happened.”  both of them (even though shown from two completely different perspectives) made me feel worse.  feelings of helplessness, anger, fear, distress, mistrust, etc., are problematic, but even worse if there is nothing that one can do about the situation.

i’ll call it: “misuse” of time.

·       for me, the biggest misuses of time are as follows, and should never, ever, be engaged-in:
o   the reading of angry, anonymous replies to articles (etc.) on social media.
o   watching videos that contribute to dis-stress and illness while (simultaneously) leaving me with a feeling of helplessness or lack of control of the situation.
o   gossip… because nobody wins and everyone loses.
    o   to be continued.

as far as the 911 situation is concerned, i have chosen to let it go.  the only thing that i can control is my (future) votes, and beliefs/perceptions about the things that we are told by governments, media... or anyone with an agenda.
