it's the little things

it’s the little things
by a. little thing

it’s the little things: a little kiss on the back of the neck, a little-bit, a little-bit of love/respect, a little how can you and i reflect, it’s just a little smile…

a little kiss upon the inner-thigh, a little-bit, you know that maybe i -- know a little-bit about the where and why…

it’s the little things: maybe, baby i can hear your song, and just maybe i can sing along, and if maybe it reveals the truth and just baby, is there anything i can do for you

it got too cold too soon

it got cold too soon

it got too cold this morning
it was too cold (at noon)
it came without a warning
it got too cold too soon

doubting doubting thomas

doubting doubting thomas
by doubting d. thomas

don’t believe in thomas
for (surely) he is wrong
doubting doubting thomas is the reason for this song
________________________

·        have you ever wondered (if you are a “christian” …you probably haven’t) why “doubting thomas” is painted in a negative way?
·        doubting thomas is never seen as an inquiring mind, a scholar, or a scientist, or a logical mr. spock type.
·        being a “doubting thomas” (especially if someone is accusing you of being one) is not a positive, complimentary conjecture.

but why?

isn’t “doubt” the pathway to truth?

research has the null hypothesis, and you (surely) don’t believe the homeless guy on the street-corner who wants to “give” you the winning lottery ticket for “only” $100… because he really cares about you (as you pass by in your convertible).

you doubt him.  rrrright???
doubt is good!

in a nutshell, here’s when “doubt” is bad:

doubt is bad… when you doubt a person with an agenda
who is attempting to get you to believe in something.
-the end.

b111 (10.5-1.2022): the ultimate misuse of time

the ultimate misuse of time [1]
by joal

we are all aware of time-wasters: procrastination activities that provide little-to-nothing in regard to personal wellness.

there is another level of time wasting, however.  when we waste time on activities that actually contribute to our own illness.  i’ll provide an example:

the other night, i watched two 911 documentaries about “what really happened.”  both of them (even though shown from two completely different perspectives) made me feel worse.  feelings of helplessness, anger, fear, distress, mistrust, etc., are problematic, but even worse if there is nothing that one can do about the situation.

i’ll call it: “misuse” of time.

·       for me, the biggest misuses of time are as follows, and should never, ever, be engaged-in:
o   the reading of angry, anonymous replies to articles (etc.) on social media.
o   watching videos that contribute to dis-stress and illness while (simultaneously) leaving me with a feeling of helplessness or lack of control of the situation.
o   gossip… because nobody wins and everyone loses.
    o   to be continued.

as far as the 911 situation is concerned, i have chosen to let it go.  the only thing that i can control is my (future) votes, and beliefs/perceptions about the things that we are told by governments, media... or anyone with an agenda.
