b80 (4.16-1.2018): lost in space

lost in space  [1]

there’s a will (a way) to be dis-cussed, disclo[the]sed, disgraced
all aboard the my-strory ship
i’m lost (we’re lost) in space

·        i didn’t want the job in the first place.  all i wanted was revenge.
·        then, my ego took over.  it became a game, a diversion.
·        then it became an obsession.
·        there’s too much to cover up.  too many questions.  too much of a fishbowl.
·        here i sit, the most powerful man on earth: uncomfortable.
·        i own more real estate (and more space) than anyone.  i am king!
·        the axe could fall at any moment.
·        i’m lost: i’m lost in space.

[2] fast-forward to 2023 - note: but the axe never fell.  in his eyes, he never lost and he will never get caught-up in any cover-up that might somehow result in anything more than a slap on the wrist.  at present, dude is a front-runner!  i was wrong (back then) thinking that justice was about to be served.  i will not get fooled again.
